I'm upgrading because it is faster, lighter, smaller, has SOs, I will finally be able to type 'résumé' and 'naïve' correctly, x-ray looks interesting, and I prefer a touch interface (assuming Amazon has done a good job with that). My wife will be getting an upgrade from K2 to K3. And I will see who is interested in the K2.

I won't be getting 3G because it's 'crippled', wifi is freely available and $50 saved can help pay for the Fire.
