No, I definitely won't be getting a Fire. If I get a tablet, it will be a tablet PC or convertible notebook computer. I really want the Lenovo Thinkpad X-Tablet, so I will probably hold off until I can get it. Yes, it's pricey and big, but I have no use for an app-based ecosystem like Android or iOS. I am an Android fan, but my smartphone does all I need in that department. A tablet PC, on the other hand, is something I can get a lot of use out of so even at the much higher cost it would be a better investment.

As far as eReaders, I like the K4-NT, and I kind of like the KT but I'm really bothered by the lack of page-turn buttons. That's why I'm looking at the Sony line and others.
