with me they attached my regular credit card to the exchange and i had a month to ship the return back in the packaging that the replacement arrived in. i it was the next day after my call when the new one arrived. i'd hope your case would be the same. i shipped the old one back (prepaid by amazon) that same day and my credit card was not charged.
