I'll tell you what I've heard... with the caveat that I have no idea about the veracity/reliability of the source. Whatsoever. It is what it is—which is strictly rumor at this point.

That's what I heard anyhow. King's supposedly working on this novel because he's interested in "finding out what happened to Danny after The Shining" and is going to write the novel to find out for himself (love how he phrases things like that).
