I'd love to get a new iphone 4s, but when they come out in Australia it will cost $810 - this is why I have never owned an iphone, they have never been below $700AU. So I have a question, stupid I never thought of it before. If I were to buy an unlocked iphone in the U.S. from Apple or whoever would that phone then work in Australia? I can't see why it wouldn't, but I'd be quite happy to pay $200 for one of the new 4S phones if there is a way. I'm from the U.S., my mom still lives there, so I can get the phone sent to her and she can send it on to me if that's a problem.
