8GB is tight on memory but it is improved with the free cloud in 5.0. As an iPod 8GB is enough for music but as a PDA more memory would be better. As a cloud device this is probably enough. To add all that hardware would significantly increase the price of the unit. Perhaps this could be a new model. Of course an iPhone gives you all this if you really want it.
