This .html seems to be OK!

If you have Mobipocket Creator installed, can you load the .opf and create a .prc using that. Does it work? If so, then the images produced cause html2mobi grief.

Otherwise, you may want to try updated versions of pngnq.exe and libpng13.dll attached to see if they help. Be sure to keep a backup of the old versions before replacing them with the attached version, if you want to go back.

Can you also try what JSWolf recommended above i.e convert the .png to .jpg and edit the .html to change the image filename endings from .png to .jpg.

In the end, if the images are 'corrupt' somehow then one of the above methods can help resolve your issue.
