So I figured I would uninstall and reinstall the Facebook App. I did this through Settings/Applications/ManageApplications. I did it in Apps, Running Apps and All. Still the program is there. How do I get rid of it completely so that I can reinstall? Can anyone offer any support? Thanks -Micky

It's possible that it's a system app (I believe its part of the google apps package and won't be able to uninstall totally.) I would suggest installing Titanium Backup, which should let you 1) make a backup of your current APK, 2) Remove all the data currently associated with your installation and 3) let you install it clean without any of the data.
You'll need to reassociate your account, of course, but everything should be clean after that. If it still crashes, I don't know what else to suggest but moving over to Google+
