Now that I think about it, maybe it was just from the T1 to the Reader for Mac that worked? And, it hasn't worked every time. I can't figure out the timing either. The T1 goes into standby so quickly. I would think that it needs to be connected to the Wi-fi to get the info and that's what the manual Page Sync on the 950 is doing. It seems that you might need to sleep the T1 to get it to transmit info back to the servers?
I went through the manuals. They were completely unhelpful. Surprisingly, the user guide says nothing except to see the Reader software. The Reader Software help document says:
Quote:
You can take advantage of your Reader Store account to keep every Reader experience perfectly in sync.
For example, you can:
Sync reading positions among all your devices and platforms.
No matter what you use - your Reader device, Reader for Android, Reader for Mac or PC, you can continue reading the book from exactly where you left off the last time.

And that's all they wrote that I can find... Everything is about syncing content via USB like the old software. I never thought that my 950 would sync more effectively than the T1. Syncing is one of the main reasons I decided to get the T1.
