I had to actually, and carefully, use my fingernail to dig a little at the camera cover to get that little piece of plastic off. It was very easy to miss.
That helps the pictures a lot, but mostly you need a steady hand, a lot of light and an understanding that if you really wanted quality images, just go buy a digital camera.
