It WAS fun. Most of us are weavers and knitters, too. And most of us use both spinning wheels and various handspindles. It's a diverse and interesting group of people (and I say "people" because we're not just a group of women -- we have men in our group, too.) Here's a (blurry) panorama pic I took Saturday afternoon of half of our meeting room. Lots of different kinds of wheels represented here. My wheel is the third from the left, in front of the empty upholstered rocking chair. It's a
Schacht Ladybug. I have more traditional wheels, too, but this one is easy to transport and spins beautifully.
And to stay on topic here, we drank plenty of ... tea. Yeah, that's it. We drank tea. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
