They might know it. That doesn't mean they made a wise decision. I am sure they are as blind as the rest of us about what B&N has planned. One thing is for sure, B&N has been a step ahead of Amazon in terms of technology for awhile. The Fire is catchup.
According to the information released, B&N has plans for two tablets this year. They were priced at $249 for the Nook Color upgrade and then $349 for its brother. With a 10 inch tablet at $349 this year, they may just leap frog Amazon. If the rumors about the Nook Color 2 having a hybrid LCD, color eink screen are true, then they may really make the Fire look inadequate.
