Yes, I know there are some dictionaries in LIT format. This doesn't help if the ebook reader device doesn't support that format. Converting a LIT ebook to another format is one thing. Trying to convert a dictionary is another.

I am very close to being able to afford either a Cybook or perhaps that new Astak unit that is due out soon. I know that if I go with the Cybook and want a dictionary, it will have to be Mobipocket.

I like having a dictionary available when I read. I just hate DRM and prefer removing it from anything that I purchase. I usually only buy DRMed stuff when there is no other choice. In the case of modern dictionaries, there currently isn't.
