Well the two new touchscreen models from Kobo and Sony available (or soon to be) in Australia are yet to be threatened by Amazon's new Kindle touch.

Bit of a shame as it would have been great to have a choice of three touch ereaders (Sony, Kobo and Kindle) to provide good competition four our coin. Having just purchased a K3 for my wife and now seriously looking at a PRS-T1 to replace my PRS-300 I wonder if the easy availability of the Kindle Touch might have given me more food for thought.

Probably not.

Regardless, I believe that Amazon have missed an opportunity here.
