In reply to blue_skies: The touch screen doesn't bother my thumbs at all and I have the Kobo touch, the thing you have to take into consideration is that the bezel is a lot smaller than on Non-touch models, so my thumb rest just off the screen and I barely have to move it at all. Plus you can hold it anyway you want and not have to move back to press a button.
