I'm trying to create a picture book in .mobi format for use on Kindle. I created it in Writer, saved it as html, and converted it with Calibre.

It's really simple, a TOC with a series of pictures.

When I view the book in Mobipocket Reader it displays fine, with all TOC links working. When I view it in Calibre's viewer it display fine as well.

However, when I put it on either a Kindle gen 2 or Kindle gen 3 there's a problem. All the pictures are there, but between each is a blank page, and each link in the TOC links not to the picture, but to the blank page in front of it.

I've tried making several changes in the way Calibre does the conversion with no luck. The trouble is I don't know what's happening so it's largely trial and error and the output is always the same- fine on any computer reader, blank pages on Kindle eReaders.

Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to solve it?
