I can add books from any source other than amazon & calibre gets the author field correct.

but when I add a retail book from kindle store, the author shows as last,first name.

is this due to non standard behavior of kindle books or is there a tweak that will sort it ?

my calibre add books preferences are set to default I think. there is an option on the preferences screen to swap author first & last names but as said above it's only Kindle that needs swapping. i.e.default is fine for for all "found" sources
