It's just a timing coincidence. Samhain likes to do their freebies at the 1st and 14th of each month, the Baker Publishing people like to rotate theirs also on the 1st of each month. But yeah, it's nicely ironic.
I kind of hope that one day there'll be a mash-up Christian Erotica genre, for people who want hawt depictions of loving faith and/or officially published Song of Solomon fanfic.
