Worth upgrading from Kindle 2?
I own a Kindle 2 and have been holding out for the K4 for a while now, but I'm not sure I like the direction in which the device is headed.
The $79 non-touch model looks like it may be too small for people with large hands, and the page turning buttons seem to be quite inconveniently located on the side of the device rather than on the front like the K2/K3. I'm also not happy about the shorter battery life compared to the K3.
The Kindle Touch looks like it could be convenient, for example with easy dictionary searches and a more convenient keyboard than the non-touch, but I don't like the idea of having to move my thumb every time I want to turn the page, where current I just press down. I've never used a touch-screen e-reader so I don't know how easily I would get used to this...
Is there any significant reason for me to upgrade from the Kindle 2 to one of these devices? Is the contrast significantly better, and have you noticed a difference in your reading experience?
