Basically personal documents work just like purchased Amazon books now. So if you download some free ebooks from Gutenberg for example, you can email them to your Kindle and have them show up on your cloud drive, to be available for Archiving and redownloading anytime.

Yes, but you still can't push to Kindle (from MYK) or pull (from Archived Items?) the Personal Documents yet. So it is not a usable feature right now. If you delete the document from Kindle, there's no way to get it back on there short of sending it via @kindle.com again (or USB)
