I didn't buy the extended warranty only because I had gone through three versions of the device (O-WiFi-Touch) in such a short time. I sorta figured that with local support here at Chapters and the probability that a new and better Kobo would be out before that local replacement shtuff disappeared, why bother. Now I am so happy with the feature set with the Touch that I might not be aching for a new version, well, the extended warranty is looking better
