Free book (Kindle/Sony/Kobo) - A Touch of Night [Fantasy Historical w/some Romance]

A Touch of Night by Sarah A. Hoyt is a fantasy historical AU (with a touch of romance) in her "Magical British Empire" series.

Although this particular volume is indie-published via Smashwords, the other books in this series are available from Random House and Hoyt's award-winning sf is also published by Baen Books.

This was a freebie on Smashwords for a couple of weeks earlier this month, but is back to full price there and at B&N.

However, Amazon, Sony, and Kobo seem a bit slow playing repricing catch-up, and the book is still free in those venues, but for who knows how much longer.

Links for Amazon (DRM-free), Sony, & Kobo.

If you are using Sony, sometimes when repricing is in effect, they still show a $0 on the product page but put the full price in the cart. So please double check before clicking the checkout, and if you have Sony set to 1-click (not recommended), then you can change to a shopping cart preview system instead by going into Your Account from the top left-hand link under your name in the Reader Library Store window.

If you find you enjoy the author's writing and the setting (or just want to read about Elves in Elizabethan times), a 4-book Sarah Hoyt Bundle of her highly regarded Shakespearean Fantasies is available DRM-free and Multi-Format via Baen, for just $14: a bundle discount savings of $2 off the individual prices of all the books.

Description
In a world where magic reigns and being a shape shifter is the only crime that warrants immediate execution, this is how Pride and Prejudice would be written. The novel is set in the world of Sarah A. Hoyt's Magical British Empire.
