After they added library loans (at least in the US), Amazon has no reason to ever consider EPUB again. Not that I agree with them of course, but it's not in THEIR best interest anymore than it is for Apple to support WMA or Vorbis audio files.

They will never support EPUB, imo - loaners finally killed any possibility that it would ever happen.


Btw, talked to my mom and she was telling me that the NYT was saying that Amazon is gunning for Apple. I don't agree - they aren't gunning for Apple at the moment, they are gunning for B&N. If B&N doesn't drop their prices by Black Friday, they are going to get buried.
