I'm surprised at the number of people who feel they need a keyboard (though if you have a k3 already, I totally understand not buying a new model). I have a nook touch. I spend about 99% of the time reading and maybe 1% writing-- reviews etc. I can't imagine those tiny round keys work much better than the virtual touch keyboard.
