I'm with you. Don't get me wrong. I think most tablets are cool and would love a new toy, but I really have no need for a tablet and I can certainly never imagine wanting to use one as a reader. If I were in the market for a great priced, lower-end tablet, I'd certainly give the Kindle Fire a really hard look but it would never replace my K3.

Same goes for the new Kindle reader models. I have no desire for a touch screen only, keyboardless reader.

Hopefully my K3 will hold up for several more years yet and, if/when it finally goes, as all electronic devices eventually do, I only pray that they have some better options available than they do now.
