Don't think that text to speech means audio books what it means is that you can have a robot voice like the one on annoying phone messages read your books to you. You can't for instance load up the Dresden Files audiobooks featuring James Marsden and play them.
Frankly I bought a book reader to read not to listen to books if I wanted to listen to books I would have bought audiobooks for my ipod and used that device to play them since that is what I have it for.
The new kindles are intriguing their touch version looks almost identical to a KT except for the 3G (which really doesn't intrigue me since I have wifi nearly everywhere I go) but the Fire now that is interesting. I might be tempted to put down for one but I will first wait to see what Kobo does with the Vox. If it's comparable I might just stick with Kobo if I want a tablet.
