It adds up to quite a bit of time on a short flight and I was wishing I had brought a paper book with me instead. But for a longer flight and of course a longer time away, it's so much easier with an ereader than carrying a few books with me.

Several solutions:
1) Take longer flights.

2) Carry a magazine to read then.
3) Actually read the airlines inflight magazine, or at least on the US carriers, look through the SkyMall catalog.
