The blue PRS-350 has black glossy buttons that reflect the light from my LED light, and sometimes the overhead lights on buses. Drives me nuts. I cut out a small rectangular piece of black card that slots under a flap at the bottom of Tuff-Luv case (it's hard to describe). I can't use the buttons while it's there but I don't generally need to if I'm just simply reading in the dark.

As the glare is bad enough just from non-matte buttons on the current Sony readers, I for one, will not be considering the PRS-T1 unless they release a matte version. I can't use tablets or enjoy watching other people's televisions because of gloss. My laptop has a matte screen (because of it's age really), and when it comes to replacing it I will be hunting out what little matte options are available (business models?).

Sony clearly does not listen to it's customers and the customers of other devices. Even with a massive price drop (relative to the previous models) it will pay a hefty price for not doing so.
