Good thing book 2 doesn't end with a cliffhanger.
I liked book 2 even better than book 1 and I have high hopes for the last book in the series

I didn't notice that either

good thing you mentioned it here...
From several experiences, I won't read anything that hasn't ended
I finished
Monster Hunter Alpha a few days ago, it was okay. I guess it should've been as good as MHI and MHV but since there was a gap between reading the 2nd and 3rd book in the series, although they're independent enough, I wasn't in the right mood any longer. That, and the shift in protagonist from Owen Pitt to Earl Harbinger.
And I'm rereading
The Crown Conspiracy, third time already. This time I notice some things that are pretty lousy, but still the main story is good despite its flaws and it gets better in the sequels. Also I plan on rereading all the
Riyria Revelations series, to brush up on the details, waiting for
Percepliquis. After that? It might be time for classic. It might be
To Kill the Mockingbird.
