Maybe they had a water proof bag- when at WDW, I carry a waterproof bag in case it rains. I have never brought my Kindle to the park though. First of all, I use Fastpass, so my waits in lines are greatly reduced. Secondly, I like to travel as light as possible. I save my Kindle-reading for back in the room or at the airport.
