I'm not sure why some people with non-ad Kindles have received version 3.3 because only KSO models are mentioned in the rest of this press release. Perhaps they'll be giving all K3 owners the choice to opt-in sometime in the future? AmazonLocal is launching in New York City and will be expanding to more cities later this year.
I knew it. More advertising. Why would I want that on my kindle? If you got a discount in exchange for advertising, that's fair, but I paid full price and don't think I should have to wade through ads.
