There are a few issues over here:
- the app is looking for GPS and there is none;
- not enough permissions.

1a. Try to hook up a Bluetooth GPS

USB GPS is not going to work.

Or
1b. Just install Ermine 1.01, post #1; might be enough.

2. Is it rooted? I guess yes, asking just in case. If not go ahead.

3. Try to check directory:

/data/data/com.facebook.katana/files

4. Try to find the app not specific to Samsung, it might be tailored for them.
