I can see your point there. Democracy isn't the state of being allowed to agree with others about a given topic but rather the state of being allowed to disagree with them. For example I may think that Pres. Obama is doing a fine job and another person may think he's the worst Pres. in the history of the country and both viewpoints are valid because we do live in a Democracy where each is entitled to express his/her own views rather than having to agree with the majority on whatever they think.
