So question for the peanut gallery here... I want to learn a new language, and trying to decide which. This is what i know so far:

* American English - native tongue
* ASL - I am a bit rusty in it, but could pick it back up pretty fast. I plan to keep this up somehow...
* Greek - I can read and write this if I have my books handy, can not speak it at all
* French and German - had a small amount of this in middle school - only vaguely remember.
* Spanish - had three years of schooling in it, but have not used it in over two decades

So, thinking...

Italian - this is where my father's family is from, vast majority of my relatives (of which I do not know at all) still lives there and speaks it as their native tongue.

Spanish - In America, this is the second most used language, so knowing it may actually be useful. I probably could pick it up somewhat quicker, as at one time I could struggle through a conversation in it.

Mainly thinking about those two, but open for options. Dunno. Any suggestions?

Oh, umm to stay on topic.. more Black Silk!
