Pros:
Amazon customer service is responsive
Supported worldwide

Cons:
Clunky keyboard and wide bezel add unnecessary size
Not a touch screen
Locks you in to the Amazon store for popular books
White plastic
Very few library books currently available (That's a pro for those of us who do read library books. If Kindle supported them, there'd be a lot more competition for titles.)

As you can see from the responses, there are widely divergent opinions on things like keyboards and touch screens. I would not buy a reader without them. Others who have responded to this thread wouldn't buy a reader with them.
