Could the OverDrive service be added to Calibre as a source for book covers?

I'd assume it's possible, but remain unsure if there's any legal entanglements involved. I recently discovered that my local libraries provide somewhat high quality covers for their ebooks and thought it would make a nice addition to Calibre's offerings. Thanks in advance!
