There are a lot of people who chose other e-reading devices because the Kindle did not have library borrowing. I almost bought a different reader myself because of that limitation, but I ended up choosing Kindle for other reasons.
I believe that the addition of Kindle library borrowing is now a major selling point, and I expect that Amazon tablets/Kindles are going to be very big sellers this holiday season!
