Yes, I did and am aware of the names. Which is why when I did some more exploring today I was really confused to find the following:

I unmounted the 8gb card and mounted it on my Windows PC (having obtained a USB converter for it) and found that the card DOES contain all of the Library contents!

However, when I added it back into the PE and browsed, the PE is calling it "/sdcard" and still tells me that "/extsdcard" is empty. I also went into the terminal emulator (I'm a Unix sysadmin) and looked around - /sdcard is a pointer to /mnt/sdcard and /extsdcard is a pointer to /mnt/extsdcard.

So for whatever reason "extsdcard" is NOT my add-in microSD card - "sdcard' IS. Thus I did accomplish what I wanted to do (move the Library to the card) but didn't realize it because the directory name was not what I had been led to expect it would be by what I read here previously.
