Overall I think this is a good thing, and I actually appreciate anyone taking a step forward (which is a painful) in getting rid of Flash. HTML5 is a lot more efficient and technically safer for the time being, and will be more accessible than Flash will ever be.

I've personally dealt with Adobe along with other team leads, developers, ect. and I can just say they really could make flash better, efficient, and safer. Adobe just doesn't want to at all. They are difficult, and arrogant in helping their own tech. to work better with operating systems. So now Adobe is working on a Flash to HTML5 application instead. Very sad.
