I have been told that eink devices use batt-power only when changing the display. And then it's supposed to only draw a single mini-mircro-nano-pico- Watt.
I guess it aint so.
Just an example: "A Feast for Crows" has 1281 pages in a comfortable font and size on my ancient(10 y.o.) ereader. Since this is a recent novel I know that I needed to recharge(while reading) exactly 3 times. Acually two and a half times, since there was a significant charge left at the end.
Some eink products used to be advertised with 10000(yes, ten thousand) page turns to a single charge.
Now it just seems they give you, perhaps, a month or two.
What the Ef does that mean?
