Thanks everyone!

I checked the running apps that were drawing battery power on PE #2 and Phone.apk and Telephony.apk didn't appear, even thought both apps appear in the apps directory. This may be one of the mods to bring the OS up to Ermine 1.01. We'll see over the next few weeks how the two units perform in relation to each other. PE #2 has to go thru some discharge/recharge cycles before it reaches full battery capacity.

Time will tell.
