I looked at it too and it looked fine on my 950. I also looked in the code and saw no indication anywhere of bold print being used throughout and read the entire thread of the development of this ebook and didn't see any indication that anyone thought bold was used throughout.

In reference to the other versions. If you use calibre then download the mobi(prc) version add it to calibre and convert it to epub. Also you could open the original epub in Sigil and remove the embedded font and see if that makes a difference..
