I am walking a lot, very often (two to three times a week, walking in summer, running or hiking in winter, have been doing this for two years now, plus swimming on the non walking day), I always drink while walking, and I am used to the heat too. I never walk after 11 am or before 6 pm in the summer. I drink around 4 liters on a walk day, 2 liters if not walking.
