Blackbird is no longer free, but I'll definitely give Redcoat a try. It's a bit out of my normal fare, but I really like historical mysteries, so historical fiction sometimes works for me too, and free is good. And if the author has a number of other e-books available at reasonable prices, all the more reason to give a try. (I HATE it when one e-book by an author or in a series is free/discounted, but then the rest - usually mostly backlist - are really pricey...)
