It looks like Studiosus is not around any more.
Can anybody else help us with trying the things suggested below? (also please see my previous post above)

Try this: copy the file on your PC and from there try to open it with the aplication you will download from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/
Forgot to say..rename the file to mybook.pdf.sketch. db (add extension .db)
here is what you might see. Alternatively you can send me an exemple of a file annotated, highlithed an with sketches and I will have a look at it. PM me if you want to do that. One more note: I keep saying annotations, in fact it is highlighted text that I am looking for. That is, you read, you highlight something, that is copied automatically in the file you mentioned and I would like that to be exported. I also own a eeeNote and and there is a guy on tabletpcreviews.com who created an application to export sketches from the eeenote database and merge them with the coresponding PDF as layers. I can try to ask him for help and directions for doing the same for this if it is proved that we have the same sort of sketch storing ... To do that we need a small PDF with annotations a coulpe of sketches and highlights to begin with
