My upper limit is $10 because that's the average price of pocket books over here. Until recently I still bought physical books and my rule then was "I'll buy the cheapest version, ebook or pocket book."

Unfortunately it's more difficult now that I've decided to go all digital, I'll probably start boycotting ebooks that cost more than their physical counterparts and/or cost more than $10. Boycotting is too strong a word, I'll wait until they drop below $10 before I'll buy them. There, that's more accurate.
