O.K... I just watched that. And my response?

REALLY GROSS!!! And downright underhanded by the stores. But... that's my own 'cultural' take on the situation. Would it stop me from buying "new" underwear? I doubt it. (I would give it a 'sniff test' though. )

It is VERY common to find used underwear being sold (as used underwear) in flea markets and yard sales in the US, as well as used lipstick... and of course, all over Third World Countries too, which means there are plenty of people who don't mind buying someone else's... else's... I'm at a loss for words here!
Personally, I won't knowingly purchase used underwear. I do, however, recognize a difference between something taken home and worn for a few days and something simply tried on for size in a store.

As a consumer, I'd like to be sure of what I buy. But I do realize that many of the things I try on in shops have been tried on by others. I realize that I run the risk of a multitude of skin diseases, parasites such as lice, etc., and fungal infections just from trying on a shirt. It's a dirty world out there... but I need to know that my Speedo looks good on me, and that my thong doesn't bind...
