From the description, it sounds like you are using the plugin to set the Books List, but it only works the first time you run in a given day. Subsequent attempts to set the list to different books doesn't work until the next day. Is that close?
I'm not sure I have that right, and if I do, I don't really know what would be causing that... But I'll wait until you can give me more details first - that might clear things up a little more for me.
So if you can give me a detailed description of what actions you are taking with the plugin and what the results are, hopefully we can sort out the issue.

As I expected I was doing something wrong
. Everything works as it should. Books get a date one year in the future.
But I still like the option of being able to disable the future dates option. Anyways that is just an opinion and I really find it a great tool
EDIT: Now when I apply the plugin to some books I get the message:
Attributeerror 'unicode' object has no attribute 'keys'
