Some typos I can forgive. But too many and I start to have problems. Anyone who is this blatant about not caring will not get any time/money from me.
I have really enjoyed one author who self-publishes, when I started reading I started with a prequel and really enjoyed it. So when I started catching up on the later timeline/earlier written books and found numerous typos, it really hurt my immersion. I have stopped reading the author completely - I have 1 or 2 books of his just sitting on my Kindle unread - because of this. Fortunately I know he improved and I know that he was actively trying to correct and republish the older works, so I can go back to him in a few months when that gets done.
