It is in a Kindle cover, a fabric/leather? one with elasticated corner straps to hold it in...are those the sort of clip you mean?
This isn't the one I have, but mine has the Kindle mounted similarly

Not sure what you mean by 'non lighted'? The cover has a pocket for a light, but I haven't used one.
